How to connect the wires in the oil heater?

Yaropolk asks:
Hello! He is weak in electrics, so I can’t figure it out myself. There was a need to repair the heater. At autopsy, I found a charred contact. As I understand it, just changing it.

But here is the problem: in what order to insert these same four wires back? They were disconnected even before my autopsy, so I don’t know what to do.
Oil Heater Repair

The answer to the question:
Hello! It depends on which 4 wires and which contact is burned ... It is necessary to check whether the heating elements of your heater are working properly. They can be checked with an ohmmeter (resistance should be low) or with a normal sound (it should beep). In this case, there should be no contacts of the heater and the heater body. If the heating elements are serviceable and not broken into the case, then proceed to assembly. If the heating element is 2, then the wires usually come out of them 4. The heater is inserted into the outlet, at one end is the plug, and on the other the wires are connected to the terminal blocks in the heater and there are usually 3 of them - phase, zero and ground (yellow-green).

So two wires from the heating elements are connected directly to zero (one of the plug pins), and the second pair of heating elements wires is connected to the extreme contacts of the toggle switches., The wire from the thermostat (such a thing with a twist is a temperature controller) is connected to the middle contacts of the toggle switches, phase (second the plug pin) is connected to this bimetal, and from it to the other contacts of the toggle switch. In words, this sounds very confusing, so I am attaching a video that can track the connection of wires and describes the principle of operation of the device.

Tell me please. It is necessary to replace the switch on the oil heaters. He removed the old switch and it has one terminal on top and a brown wire approaches it, and two terminals on the bottom and red and blue wires fit.
I bought a new switch, but there are two terminals on the light and two on the bottom.
And how to connect the wires and what where and how to put the switch.
There are no symbols on the switch, but “O” and “I” are drawn on the key.
I will be grateful for the help. Thank.

Hello! Blue wire - perhaps this is the backlight of the switch. He began to glow when the thermostat worked? In order for the heating elements to heat, most likely you need to combine red with brown. But, if they are not faithful - connect through a 100W incandescent lamp - if it glows at full intensity - most likely it is impossible to connect, this is zero. And if it burns weakly - then these are heating elements and you can connect
