Hello, the light does not turn off through the switch in the room, I decided that the switch was faulty and decided to replace it, the old switch took off the wires remained open but the light was still on, there was no visible damage on the switch and there was no wiring either. How can this be?

It may also be that cables pass nearby and the insulation is damaged - as a result, the phase moves to the lamp from the second cable. Or in the distribution box, the insulation on the twists is damaged.
