Why does the outlet show a voltage of 50 volts and it sparks?
The socket worked for about 5 years, recently it began to spark. I checked that the wires are connected correctly, while the sockets in the kitchen are working properly. I checked the voltage tester in other rooms and the kitchen with 220 volts, and in my room at the outlet 50 V. What is the reason?

The socket sparks if the plug sockets of the socket do not provide good contact with the plug of the appliance. Remove the cover and inspect the outlet - it will be immediately visible in the charred areas where it sparked. Have you checked the reliability of the contact wire connection in the outlet? Perhaps one of the clamps is loose and therefore sparks. It is also possible to sparkle in the outlet itself - if it is structurally connected to several elements, for example, with rivets or screws. In any case, the sparking of the outlet is an abnormal phenomenon and it is better to replace it with a new one.
You should also check the conductors that are connected to the outlet. The voltage below may indicate if the core in the wire is broken. It may not show the voltage when measuring, but when the load is turned on, it sparks.
