How to make a safe highlight of the ice town in the country?

Hello! I want to make a fabulous ice town for my daughter at the cottage. What can be the options for safely pouring colorful lights into the ice? Lamps and wiring. Tell me in which direction to study the issue, maybe later I will seek information myself. Thanks in advance.

Hello! Use either a duralight cord or a waterproof 12V LED strip. In this case, the LED strip in this case is preferable, because after all, the duralight is powered by 220V, and in your case, electrical safety is in an important place. You can also use LED lamps on 12V, such are used in spotlights, for example with a G4 cap, but here it is not a fact that it will be possible to find waterproof models. And why do you want to fill the backlight in the ice? If you pour ice directly into the light emitter - then yes, the best option is probably a tape. But you can offer an alternative - use streetlights, the same LED, low power and install them so that the ice is highlighted diagonally from below.
