Additional grounding of cable trays

Please tell me, is an additional electrical connection between the metal trays of the cable routes necessary, if during installation the trays enter into each other and are pulled together by a bolt connection?

    Yes, definitely! This will be the electrical connection of the metal trays (i.e. their grounding).
