Why does the hood in the kitchen not work, and the light in it burns?

Sergei asks:
Recently, I noticed that when you turn on the 1st exhaust speed (out of 4 possible), the motor hums, but does not pull. Perhaps the blades became dirty and heavier, and at the first speed he could not start. It doesn’t matter, I started it from the 2nd speed, there were no questions. Today, the wife turned on the first speed and left. Accordingly, there is a load, it cannot crank, it stands under load. I don’t know how many hours the hood stood like that, but as a result, now not a single speed turns on, and the motor does not even buzz. The light is working. I made out what I could, the fuse in the box with the wires was whole, the smell of burning was not felt, the blades in the engine manually rotated easily. Is the engine burned out or can you do something yourself, if so, where to look where to start? Hood Dome Backer QD60A-G6L200.
The answer to the question:
Hello! How did you check the fuse? A bell, I hope? It is necessary to check the integrity of the engine. Which one is there? Most likely with a multi-speed capacitor. Check winding integrity. If it burns out, then just rewind, it can be difficult to do. If you find where to buy a replacement - it will help. The only question is expediency, maybe a new one is cheaper? The lighting in it does not depend on the engine. If the windings are intact, the engine should at least hum. In general, it did not start 90% because the bearings were worn out and did not allow it to spin. And there is a likelihood that the truth is thick overgrown blades of fat. Disassemble and twist by hand.
