Why do the lights flicker and the remote control does not work on the MW Light chandelier?

Irina asks:
Good afternoon. An electrician installed a chandelier.
Chandelier Feature:

  • Brand Name: MW
  • Collection: Snowdrop
  • Manufacturer: China
  • Warranty: 12 months.
  • Size (WxHxD): 57x36x57 cm
  • Material: metal, glass, crystal
  • Lamps: 16x20W, type G4
  • Color: Chrome
  • Lighting Area: 21.33 sq.m

Firstly, the remote control does not work. Generally does not respond. Secondly, he installed 16 G4 LED lamps on it, and these bulbs when they burn .... flicker, as if the light was “cracking”. Not at all, somewhere in the middle. I called the store, they said that it was installed incorrectly. What could be the reason? Even when turned on, the very chandelier clicks.

The answer to the question:

Hello! LED lamps at 12 volts? If so, what feeds them? If an electronic transformer - then the light will flicker. Then you need to install a 12V power supply with a constant output voltage, the same as "for LED strips".

The remote control will only work if there is a radio relay. If the remote control is included, then the radio relay should also be. The question is, how did he connect it? You could connect this chandelier directly bypassing the radio relay, then the remote control will not work. On the relay itself, a circuit is usually drawn.

As for the click - yes, the radio relay clicks loudly enough, well, not straight so much, like a click of the fingers.
