Marking on VVGp 3 * 2.5 does not correspond to reality - what to do?

Hello! I bought a cable for an apartment in a specialized electrician store, sellers praised the goods that they had all the highest quality products and therefore the prices were higher, but after measuring with a micrometer the wire diameter turned out to be much smaller. The marking on the wire is: VVGp 3 x 2.5 0.66 kV UVELT 2015. After checking, it turned out that the diameter is 1.65 mm, this is equal to the cross-sectional area 2.1, now I want to return it to the store, how to act in this case if 14 days have passed, but do I have a check?

Hello! Well, since more than 14 days have passed since the purchase of the goods, problems with the store may arise. Try to refer to GOST 12177-79, according to which the plant manufactures its cable products. In your case, the deviation from the nominal section is 14%, although the maximum error should be no more than 10%. Try to state this fact in the store. If this does not give a positive result, contact the managers of UVELT, making a complaint through the official website of the plant.
