I wanted to know if to connect this counter in the following order: socket in the apartment >> counter >> electrical appliance. Will I be able to measure how much this particular electrical device consumes electricity (kWh)? Will he measure correctly? Connection diagram in addition. The meaning is this, I want to find out how much money is spent per month, for example on an electric stove.

If the meter is working, then when connected, it will count the amount of electricity consumed. But you must take into account that such a meter considers the amount of electricity consumed with an error that is higher than that of modern electronic meters. It is also unknown in what state the meter is, when it was last checked, that is, it is possible that the measurement error will be higher than permissible. That is, you will not get the exact result.
In general, to measure electricity consumption by an electrical appliance, there are special portable electricity meters that are plugged into an outlet. With such a device, you will know the consumption of electrical appliances with greater accuracy than in the case of the old meter.
