Laying the cable in the walls according to the new rules

Good afternoon! I constantly see a video on YouTube where the wiring is installed on the floor or on the ceiling, but not a single one about the installation in the walls. Are these some new rules? Or you can do it in the walls, especially since the layer of plaster has not yet been applied. Thank!

You can of course lay the wiring in the walls - there are no restrictions, everyone mounts the wiring as it suits him. They are mounted on the floor or on the ceiling, since in this case all the cables can be laid before laying the floor covering and installing the ceiling, but all the same, the cables will be laid along the wall to outlets and switches - so here you get a mixed way of laying in any case. Choose such an option to lesser ditch the walls if they are already plastered. If you still have a layer of plaster, you can lay the entire cable on the walls. You choose the most convenient way of laying, but also consider the location of other interior elements, so that after installing the cables there are no difficulties with fixing various elements.
