Connecting an electrical outlet

Hello! Question on the electrics! The wall is sheathed with drywall, a hole is cut out for the outlet of the stove, the outlet itself is mounted in the wall. I want to bring the socket to the surface, is such a connection possible: leave the socket itself in place, and buy another socket and plug, respectively, a piece of wire and connect it all, i.e. will a plug be plugged into the outlet on the wall from which again the outlet, to which the stove will connect? Is it safe? I just don’t see other options to lengthen, because breaking drywall is not an option. Thanks in advance for your reply!

Hello! It will be easier to lengthen the electric cable itself, and not damage your circuit. Any wire connection degrades the reliability of the wiring, so it is best not to use your option. Or replace the electric cable with a longer one (within reason of course, if the stove is installed next to it).
