Why does the phase disappear when the appliance is plugged in?

Konstantin asks:
I connected the PIN to the outlet for phase and zero, there is voltage in the phase. There is no voltage at zero. I plug the appliance into the same outlet immediately the phase disappears (I checked it with a pin in another socket in the same outlet).
The answer to the question:
Most likely, the power cord is broken somewhere or there is poor contact at the junction. If the machine does not knock out, then it is definitely not the device. Inspect, if possible, the distribution boxes through which the line passes to this outlet.
