Why did you turn on the LED strip when the machine was knocked out and the smell sank of burn?

Hello! I bought a set of diode tapes. There is a power supply, controller, remote control and the tape itself. I glued it, turned it on to the tee, it burned for about 3 minutes. After I pressed the remote control and a pop sounded. Knocked out sockets. But it stank of a fork that included a tape. What could be?

Hello! Perhaps the power supply was weak too or defective. The only thing I can advise is to buy a new one.

here the power supply is either not working or the LED strip is short or it could rarely close inside the socket itself, but this can happen if the wiring is careless, you can turn on the machine without load if it doesn’t knock it out, then the case in the LED tape or in the power supply must be checked including smoothly raising it through latr voltage and checking the load current in the power supply circuit by the tester, it usually does not exceed 0.02 amperes
