A condenser at my pumping station failed and I replaced it, but after that the pump engine did not work for long and smoke came out of it, what happened and what to do?
Hello! Did the capacitor fail in the sense that it pierced? Did you replace with a capacitor with the same capacity? The fact that smoke came from the engine - it most likely burned out. It is necessary at least to disassemble and watch / ring the windings for integrity. If they are "bad" then rewind. By the way, from personal experience, replacing the pump is approximately equivalent to rewinding the engine.
