Why is the light blinking in a private house?

Hello. In our private house a month ago, the light began to flash strongly. That blinked, then no, and then it began to completely disappear. An hour or two not, then it will appear. The last time was gone all night. They called an electrician. The problem was entering the house. The wires are old, oxidized. Changed, everything was fine. But now, no, no, and again, one or two flashes. So far not so much, but noticeable. What is the reason?

Hello! Are you sure the wires at the entrance to the house have been replaced? Perhaps they just cleaned the joints and, if the wire is aluminum, it oxidized again. Is the line from the pole (or where does the electricity come from) to entering the house completely changed? Poor contacts are possible everywhere, from input to the house and ending with poor contact on one of the transformer substations. Well, in general, from personal experience, I know that in the private sector there are often problems with electricity - either the neighbors plant the line with electric welding and so on, or the line itself or the transformer substation is in poor condition.
