There is a need in the future to connect several powerful computers (4-5 kW) in the apartment, there is an idea in order to save electricity and not to burn home wiring. Install a rectifier 220 V AC at 24 V DC; connect a 24 V DC inverter to 220 V AC with an output power of 6 kW-8 kW-10 kW (it will depend on the price tag).
There are several questions. Is it possible to apply this configuration for secure connection and further operation of servers? Will there be energy savings in the long run? If the answer to the previous questions is yes, then what kind of power do you need a rectifier to connect the inverter and the subsequent load say 6kWh? Please do not sprinkle with scientific terms. There will be no savings, because with each conversion - 220/24 - 24/220 - a part of the energy will be lost, mainly in the form of heat (see the law of conservation of energy). The easiest way is to organize a separate power line, with an appropriate section of the wiring.
