Is it possible to replace the power plug of 2.5 A with 6-10A?

The leg on the power plug (250V 2.5 A) broke. There is another wire plug on it (250V 6-10A). What is the difference between them and can it be put in place of a broken one?

Hello! You can replace it, because the new plug is able to withstand greater loads than a broken one. But just the opposite can not be changed, because A plug rated for less current may not withstand the load. The difference between the two power forks in the design.
