Is it possible to connect the refrigerator through an extension cord or is it better to directly connect it to an outlet?

Good afternoon. Please tell me what is the best way to proceed. I rent a house. I do not know what condition the wiring is. The refrigerator sometimes rattles during operation. It was plugged directly into a power outlet. I reconnected it to the outlet through an extension cord. In which case it will somehow save or is it better to directly to the outlet. Just leaving for 1 day, I would not want to turn off the refrigerator.

Hello! If the refrigerator rattles during operation, the matter is not in the wiring, but in the refrigerator itself. Better call the master so that he looks and repairs the refrigerator so as not to worry when leaving. Connecting the refrigerator through an extension cord will not affect safety in any way. The only thing that can protect your refrigerator is a power strip, it is better to connect it through it, but again, the problem with noise cannot be solved by itself.
