Can I connect a chandelier and spotlights to a two-gang switch?

Good afternoon! In the new building, a wire for connecting the chandelier is displayed and there is a two-key switch. I plan to make a stretch ceiling with 5 built-in LED lamps and plus a chandelier with 5 horns (LED lamps). Repair workers offer to connect a chandelier to the 1-button switch, and to connect the built-in lights to the wire to the 2nd button. Please tell me how secure is this connection? I really don’t feel like ditching the walls, because the repair is almost complete.

The main condition for the safe operation of the wiring is to connect a load that does not exceed the permissible value for the laid wiring cable. Lighting in the apartment is a small load, so this connection option will be safe. Usually, a copper wire with a cross section of 1-1.5 square meters is laid for lighting. mm - this section will be enough to load the fixtures and lamps in the room, even if you use not LED, but ordinary lamps.

There is no danger, I have done just that. I’ve been using it for three years now.
