Is it possible to connect a four-pole RCD in a single-phase network?

Hello. There is a selective RCD (ABB, 100mA, 63A), I want to put it on the input as fire, but it is 4-pole. Can it be connected to a single-phase network? Thank.

Hello! You can connect a 4-pole RCD to a single-phase network. In this case, you need to connect to zero and to the phase from which the resistor and the Test button are powered. This is necessary in order to be able to verify the functionality of the RCD. Most often this is the phase connected to pin “5” at the top and “6” at the bottom. In any case, look at the circuit that is shown on the RCD enclosure - there it should be visible to which of the phases the RCD verification resistor is connected. After connecting the RCD, check its operability by pressing the "Test" button.
