What RCD should be set if the input automatic 50A?

Hello! Such a question: a shield in a new building in an apartment. Here is its sequential arrangement: VA C50 (introductory) - electric meter - RCD 40 A at 30 mA (for all groups one) - group machines, as usual on 16A (sockets) and 10A (lighting). Only 18 groups. There are groups: boiler, oven, air conditioning, hob, dishwasher, washing machine. Electricians installed one RCD for all groups (after the input VA), but it turns out that the sum of the nominal values of the group AB exceeds the nominal value of the input AB, it may be necessary to put the RCD one step higher than the value of the input VA (although of course it was necessary to put the RCD group on certain groups). From the standard range, the next is 63 A (after all, probably not 40A, as it was established). Yes, in the switchboard (floor shield) there is a HV at 100A for three apartments and also an opening AB C50. Thanks in advance for your reply !!!

Yes, the RCD at the input must be selected at a value higher so that it does not undergo overload. A 50 A machine at 50 A will not work, and for some time (up to an hour, depending on overload) it will be in the on state and, accordingly, the RCD will be overloaded at this time. Separate RCDs are recommended for electrical appliances dangerous from the point of view of electric shock - in the first place, this is a boiler, hob, dishwasher, washing machine.
