What RCD should be set if the input automatic machine 32A?

Hello. An electrician supplied automatic devices and RCDs of one company, IEK. A Chinese company, but everyone claimed to be reliable and cheaper. The question arose during the ammunition of the RCD. The following machines are: 16a - 2pcs, 25a - 6pcs, 32a - 2pcs. And the RCD at 32a. Today I found another electrician (from the neighbors, a new building) and he said that the RCD needed to be installed incorrectly, the wrong ampere, 32a was clearly not enough and it was necessary to take 40, and the best was generally Schneider. The question is, who is right, what to do with ouzo, change or leave? Thanks in advance.

Hello! Indeed, in your case, the RCD rating must be higher than the value of the input automatic machine. Those. if there is a 32A machine on the input, the residual current device must be rated 40A. As for the IEK company, Schneider will certainly be much better, but the price is more expensive. For the budget segment, IEK machines and RCDs are the best option.
