How to change a three-key switch to a two-key to remove one lighting line?

Good afternoon! I have a combined question that actually relates to both security and lighting. In an apartment in one of the rooms, lighting is realized by lines - 1 line 1 switch. In total there are 3 lines connected to one three-gang switch. There was a need to remove 1 lighting line. Will it be sufficient, from a safety point of view, to simply change the switch to a two-gang switch, and simply isolate an unnecessary line to the wire contacts that go into the mounting box (for the switch)? Unfortunately, there is no need to completely pull out the wires or redo the wiring (all wiring in the floor slabs under the plaster). Thank you in advance for your response. Yours faithfully,
Igor Klimenko.

Hello! Yes, for security it will be enough just to securely insulate the wire and carefully place it in the mounting box so that it does not interfere with the installation of the switch.
