How to remake a radio-controlled model from an internal combustion engine to an electric motor

Ivan asks:
The question is not a lot of strange, I have a radio-controlled model of an engine with an internal combustion engine, I want to replace the internal combustion engine with an electric motor, gas control goes through a servo machine, I want to connect the engine in its place, will it work, if not, how to do it right?
The answer to the question:
Hello! You can redo it, only the servo control circuit is not suitable for controlling an electric motor. Since the servo rotates to a certain ANGLE, and the engine rotates as long as you press on the "gas".

In theory, you need to install a driver for the engine (H-bridge, controller), connect the signal from the receiver of the control signal to its inputs. In practice, an electric motor (collector or BLDC), a battery, charging for it, possibly a receiver are bought for this. You may have to buy additional parts for the transmission. I can’t recommend models and stores, because I don’t deal with this issue, but the process is shown in this video, although it is short.

By the way, under the video there are links to what you need to order with aliexpress for such a rework!
