How to distinguish zero from grounding?

Oleg asks:
I was going to connect the electric stove. I can not distinguish "0" from "earth"
Everything is clear with the phase. But the other two wires give exactly the same performance. Between the phase and the 1st wire, between the phase and the 2nd wire the same voltage. The 1st wire and the 2nd, they call each other. And both wires ring on the battery.
The answer to the question:
So it should be, zero to earth are connected in the electrical panel (90% probability). You can distinguish them by color (yellow-green - this is the land usually). But if the colors are the same, then you need to look in the electrical panel what and where is connected. If zero is connected to the difavtomat, for example, then disconnect it. Then measure the voltage between the phase and the two remaining ones. Where it will not be - this is zero. Or also the earth can be disconnected and it will be the same. If you see where the ground is connected to zero, then you can do this: if connected to the machine, then when the machine is turned off, the ground should stop ringing.
