Scarlett SC-4003 Electronic Clock Stop Displaying Time

Hello! The electronic clock stopped working, the scoreboard does not light. There is a radio on this watch, it also does not respond. What could be the reason? Garju doesn't smell, no burnt microcircuit tracks inside. I measured the resistance on the plug, does not show a unit and that's it. It turns out the case in the primary winding?

The resistance of the primary winding can be hundreds of ohms, check the voltage from the transformer, it should be in the range of 9-12 volts. And yet - a common cause of failure of an electronic clock is precisely the burnout of the primary winding of the receiver.

Thank you very much for the answer, I’ll measure it and I’m already thinking about it, having established the reason for the repair, I can’t find such a transformer or pick up an analog.

HELLO WINNING THE TRANSFORMER? I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM Tell me how the voltage on the winding got out of position

I’m looking for options so far :) The transformer is most likely defective, it’s even logically so, the current does not flow to the clock, measured with a multimeter, plus a couple of condors swollen by 220 microfarads. Find repairmen would be sensible, not everyone undertakes this. Are you, if anything, write, okay ?! :)

In the primary winding of the transformer there is a fuse, it had to be replaced and the clock worked. But capacitors with extruded rubber bands also need to be replaced, which I will do next.

Must use without transformer power supply

How to connect then, from the secondary winding, four wires go to the clock chip, will there be two on the power supply? And how to choose the right power supply, is there no data on the cable?
