How long will aluminum-copper twist last?

Valentine asks:
Hello. This means panic, I know that to connect aluminum wiring with copper, you need a metal adapter, for example brass. Well, or many other ways.

The question is, I live in the wilderness, I won’t get to the market soon. And while I twisted the light bulb in the kitchenette straight. That is, he attached the copper wire to the old aluminum wiring by means of ordinary twisting.

Question: How much this mastery can work in such a state without manifesting unpleasant consequences due to the combination of such metals. Say, a period of two weeks, with a robot light bulb within 12 hours a day, until the moment when I can get adapters, well, or something else?

The answer to the question:
Hello! It all depends on humidity, load (you have a small one, a light bulb, you write), and environmental temperature conditions.

Take two ordinary bolts, which is convenient, well, M4-M8, each with a nut and 3 washers for each (a total of 6). Take the bolt, put the washer under the head, then turn the cores with a ring, put one on the bolt first, so that the ring is twisted as if to tighten the bolt, then put on the second washer and second core, here the ring should be screwed in the direction of tightening the nut so that when tightened, it did not unwind. Then one more washer and tighten everything with a nut on top. Do not overtighten, otherwise you will pinch and cut the aluminum core. Well, wrap everything with electrical tape.

If you don’t find so many washers, then leave at least one that is between the conductors, but when tightening, check that the nut does not jam in the thread and does not damage it, so that it is pressed firmly by the nut, and the second wire - by the bolt head!

Then you can sleep peacefully if you have made well connections.
