Which is better: voltage regulator or relay

Hello, we very often experience large power surges, not only during the day, but also at night. Tell me, is it better to install a voltage stabilizer or a voltage control relay in the house? Thank.

Hello! It’s better to install both. For instant protection of equipment from power surges, the voltage control relay helps better, but at the same time, if the network parameters are emergency, an outage in the house will occur, you need to be prepared for this. Electricity will turn on when the network parameters return to normal. In your case, you will not have light often. At the same time, the stabilizer will stabilize the voltage in the network, so the power will not be switched off during changes if the settings are not exceeded. The disadvantage of stabilizers is that they are more expensive, take up more space, make noise and they have sensitivity to interference.
As a result, I advise you to nevertheless install both a relay and a stabilizer, if the budget does not allow it, at least just a stabilizer.
